The Archway Project, Bath
After a successful HLF round 2 bid we are continuing to develop the interpretation for a new World Heritage Centre and Learning Space with architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios.
The £5million Archway Project will provide much needed learning facilities to the Roman Baths, one of the UK’s most visited heritage attractions in the UK with 1 million visitors a year. Part of the scheme transforms a previously inaccessible undercroft into a hands-on investigation zone for school groups, set amongst the Roman ruins.
The World Heritage Centre will create a new offer to the visitors of Bath and aims to connect them to the wider heritage landscape, a key value that gives Bath it’s UNESCO world heritage status.
