The Home Team Academy is a joint forces response to emergency services training in Singapore. Home Team Gallery was required to showcase past joint operations giving a sense of a shared history and provide a learning environment where groups could work together to manage complex situations.

HKD worked closely with eight government agencies to create the 1,000 sqm gallery which includes a ‘Situation Room’ where groups of 40 students work to manage an unfolding emergency. The challenge for HKD was to create an infrastructure that was relevant, sustainable and real enough so that students would be able to see the real world application of the lessons learnt within this training facility.
