06 Dec 2007 Climate Change Exhibiton for Singapore

HKD have been appointed as Concept Designers for the new Climate Change Gallery in Singapore Science Centre. The new Gallery, entered through a feature wall of ice will be dived into five principal zones each with associated exhibits where the visitor can investigate the challenges of Climate change. The design for the gallery will be developed with the staff of The Singapore Science Centre in a series of master classes facilitated by HKD and led by Richard Houghton, Creative Director of HKD.

14 Nov 2007 Uppark, National Trust

HKD has been appointed by the National Trust to supply new interpretation materials for Uppark. This beautiful late 17th-century house in West Sussex will reveal to visitors next year some of its secrets , these will include links to H.G.Wells,Royal visitors and a devastating fire.

HKD will be working with Environmental Graphic Designer Pat O'Leary on this project.

12 Jul 2007 Thinktank Science Centre, Birmingham

Thinktank Science Centre Master Planning

HKD has completed a Masterplan for Thinktank, as well as looking at the overall circulation and creating design concepts for 60% of the museum the proposal adds a new interactive science garden to the existing facility.

08 Feb 2007 The Equiano Project

The Equiano Project is now open in the Gas Hall, Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery.
The Exhibition tells the incredible story of Olaudah Equiano (c1745-1797). From his kidnap and enslavement as a child, to his eventual success as a best selling author and campaigner against the slave trade.
The Equiano Project is a partnership between The Equiano Society and BM&AG. There are two travelling exhibitions and an educational pack to accompany the exhibition.
